We make woodblocks, so you can make prints.

Choose a block from our array of ready-to-print Designer Blocks, or upload your own image to create a Custom Block.

We’ll use our laser to etch your block and send it to you.

Before you know it, you’ll be ready to create handmade prints to share with friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else you please!

To create your hand-made prints, you'll need your Etchpop block, ink, a roller, and paper. Get everything you need in the Etchpop Starter Kit.
Experiment with the paper: try a matte finish, textured, or colored paper. By using different types of paper, you can create a variety of prints using just one block.
In living color: you can vary the types and colors of ink to create a rainbow of custom prints!
Variety is the spice of life! Your Etchpop block is multi-talented, and can be used for printing all kinds of things: cards, posters, labels, invitations...check out the Gallery for some inspiration.

If you've got an idea, and a bit of digital know-how, you can create your own Custom Block.

Use whatever design tools you fancy to create your image, translate it into digital form, and upload it. A few things to remember:

The golden rule of engraving is: quality in = quality out. If you use a small pixelated picture, your woodblock will reflect its inferior quality. Your image should be 300+ dpi to ensure a quality woodblock.
Your image will need to be Black and White with no grayscale. Only two colors, Black, and White. Think pandas, penguins, piano keys, and zebras!
Submit your image as a PDF, as a Bitmap (JPG) or as a PNG.
We offer three sizes of woodblocks: 4 ¹/₄” x 5 ¹/₂” - 8” x 10” - 11” x 17” If you are interested in a custom size, feel free to contact us.
Be cool don’t steal: Etchpop cannot engrave an image that violates trademark or copyright law. Examples include: comic book or movie characters, company or team logos, and other people’s artwork. Non-consensual woodblocking is a serious crime.
